Who We Are?

The Egyptian Neuroscience Network (ENN) is being established as a national and regional platform designed to foster collaboration, innovation, and research excellence in the field of neuroscience. By uniting scientists, clinicians, and engineers, the network aims to address shared challenges and build a sustainable capacity for brain science research within Egypt.

Our Vision

The ENN’s vision is to create a cohesive and inclusive community that serves as a model for interdisciplinary work across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

Key pillars of this vision include:

• Empowering young scientists and supporting gender equity.

• Bridging the gap between different institutions and generations of researchers.

• Fostering ethical and innovative research that directly responds to the needs of society.

Specialized Areas

  • Brain–computer interface (BCI) systems.
  • Neuroimaging and computational modeling.
  • Neuroethics, an emerging field in the MENA region.
